At AlphaOne Electrics, we pride ourselves on helping homeowners across Cornwall embrace the power of renewable energy. One of our most recent projects took us to the picturesque village of Stithians in Truro, where we transformed Mrs C’s property into an energy-efficient home.

For this project, we installed ten high-performance 415W Eurener Zebra All Black panels, a fantastic choice for maximum energy generation. These panels form a total system size of 4.15 kW, optimised to harness Cornwall’s abundant sunlight. Working closely with Mrs C and our trusted roofing subcontractor, we integrated these panels with a GSE roof-integrated system, ensuring a seamless finish alongside Mrs C’s new roof and tiles.

To complement the solar panels, we installed a G3 GivEnergy 3.6kW Hybrid Inverter and a Gen2 GivEnergy 9.5kWh LiFePO4 Battery, featuring an integrated DC breaker for added safety. This battery system enables Mrs C to store excess energy for use during evenings or on cloudy days, significantly reducing her reliance on the grid. In practical terms, she can now cover around 65% of her property’s electricity needs with solar power, exporting any surplus to the grid for further savings.
